Why do things seem
So unfair at times?
Was it me?
Was fault mine?
"I hope not",
We'll say with a sigh.

Could we perhaps
learn to love,
and care for others
just like how -
God cared for the outcasts
the sorrowful and poor.
He never judged them,
in better or worse.

Could we perhaps
be more like Him,
helping others -
those in need?

Could we perhaps
learn to share,
all that's given -
and not compare?

Could we perhaps
try some day,
to live life in full -
and not complain?

Could we perhaps
try to see,
the goodness of life -
and all that's glee?

Troubles may come
Oh yes they will,
leaving you sometimes -
alone and hurt.

Who's at fault?
You might say.
But blame doesn't take
your problems away.

Life is full of ups and downs,
But with our God,
'ups' are always in abound.
The 'downs' are never easy,
but who can stay sadly
when the King of the world
would receive you gladly?

I must therefore conclude,
that though times are hard,
never lose heart -
The Lord Almighty -
will always be your guard!
Learn to be someone that cares,
Endears and shares,
these are the qualities
of our Good Lord and friend.
